IPPC Reporting

AERS Submissions
The Annual Environmental Report — a yearly submission required of permit holders, summarising the year's environmental performance and compliance against permit conditions. Late or incomplete AERS submissions are a common source of enforcement attention, so timing matters as much as content.
Waste Vehicle Certification
A technical compliance report confirming a vehicle meets the specification required for an ERA waste carrier licence — needed when applying for a new licence or renewing an existing one. This is an engineer's compliance report under the warrant, not a roadworthiness test.
Waste vehicle certification is not the same as VRT roadworthiness testing. VRT requires a separate Transport Malta tester licence. This is a technical compliance report for ERA's waste carrier licensing requirements specifically.
